Normally a nil-nil scoreline sounds like a very very drab and dour match was fought. However, in this case, nothing was further from the truth................. this really was a very entertaining match where our boys continued to show some steel in addition to the flair already shown. The entire match ebbed and flowed from end to end.......... great stuff.
Must admit that we were somewhat fortunate that David Nugent's crack hit the post and that Hart had to save brilliantly from Glen Johnson. Mind you, had Vassell managed to control the ball after that defence slitting pass with the goal at his mercy, it might have been a different story. Anyway, honours even which was pretty much a fair result.................and we're still 3rd in the table. Yayyy!!!!! CTID, Richard |
